An evolution of last year’s Evolve Small program, this AI for Good initiative supported minority and women-owned small businesses. We created a digital version of Queen Latifah (with her permission) to promote these businesses. Using an AI ad generator, businesses created 15-second videos featuring Queen, allowing her to appear in thousands of places simultaneously.
Digital Queen created thousands of videos for small businesses across North America, saving over $21 million in costs. The campaign reached 450 million people, boosting Lenovo’s brand awareness by +4%. Some businesses received additional promotion, including local media, grants, and mentorship, leading to a 500% increase in website traffic.
Supporting a global team, I managed production, including the ad generator, website, launch assets, and contest winner promotions.
